As you can see a beach hunter finds all kinds of things and I didn't post a lot of it either, like all the Zippo lighters that I found, and tons of other stuff that I collect. My wife Paulette and I hunt together now, but this year has been our worst year for a great number of reasons and we did not get to hunt for about four months. Much of the time she stayed home to nurse my elderly mother and I had to hunt alone, if I hunted at all. I hope that 1999 is a better year. I would like to pass on one small point about hunting the beach. When I started hunting there were several beach and water veterans that were always finding gold while I dug up a few coins. Back then I can remember the presence of these veteran hunters always intimidated me somewhat on the beach and I expected that they had already found everything there was to find. I finally decided one day to quit that and start hunting right over their footsteps and surprise they missed a bunch of goodies! Well needless to say, they do not intimidate me anymore. If anything, their shoulders shrug some when they see the wife and I marching onto the beach.

All it takes is a good detector like the Fisher CZ machines and the determination to find the goodies. There is no reason why you cannot better these finds yourself in 1999 and I hope you will believe in yourself and go the extra mile to produce the finds. It means going when you don't feel like it, going when it is freezing outside and the wind is screaming, going even in the rain, going even at night and hunting with a flashlight. The main thing is you need to do is to go!

All these finds were made with Fisher CZ20 detectors. Wishing you and yours a good year of 1999 and outstanding finds!
