HOT METAL DETECTING SITES

Don't be specific but generalize the site and why it is your favorite so I can add a variety of sites
- (General) All sites have to have these things in common
High activity periods(past or present)
Grass cover (2" - 3" desired) or loose dry sand (exceptions are objects washed ashore at the beach)
The reason is that objects of value that fall to clean surfaces are quickly picked up by the next person
and do not accumulate. Locally we have Bermuda grass that hides any coin dropped so that they can accumulate.
- (Rings) Found where people are active in games where they throw balls, or frisbees
or at the beach where their hand shrinks and the ring falls off as they swim. Also areas which have
a large number of wintertime snow activities such as throwing snowballs!
